Need more proof that partisanship trumps all?
According to the newly released Washington Post-ABC News poll, a greater share of Republican voters think Bill Clinton’s treatment of women is a legitimate issue in this election than think Donald Trump’s treatment of women is a legitimate issue in this election.
These views do not make much sense — after all, Donald Trump will be on the ballot next month, and Bill Clinton will not — but they are convenient. After all, the same poll found that about half of Republicans believe Trump has probably made unwanted sexual advances toward women:
